Bàrbara Pons Giner

Commissioner for the 2030 Agenda, Ajuntament de Barcelona

Architect with a PhD in urban planning and a Master in Landscape Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School Of Design. She specialises in sustainable urban development, climate change and global cities. As Commissioner for the 2030 Agenda, she is responsible for developing and coordinating Barcelona's strategy for achieving the SDGs and implementing projects related to sustainable energy and innovation in urban mobility. She has spoken at numerous conferences, seminars and has taught at various national and international universities.
