Science and Innovation

The aim is to evaluate and improve the functioning of the Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDs) implemented in Barcelona, and thus meet the urban challenge of making a more sustainable and efficient use of water, in a context of climate change. The objectives will be achieved by (1) carrying out a study of the urban water system and the pollutants found, in order to obtain a map of pollutant distribution, and (2) evaluating and improving SUD systems.
