EN RESiDÈNCiA, artists in Barcelona’s secondary schools!

Since 2009, the Barcelona Institute of Culture (ICUB) and the Barcelona Education Consortium (CEB) have promoted Artists IN RESIDENCE at secondary schools in Barcelona – a pioneering programme in Catalonia – aimed at bringing contemporary art to public secondary schools through direct, ongoing contact between an artist and students. With IN RESIDENCE, an initiative developed in cooperation with the association A Bao A Qu, artists are invited to come up with a specific work that they will the produce together with a group of compulsory secondary education (ESO) pupils.
