A new format for the Photogenic Festival
Exhibitions, workshops, lectures, debates and many more events in one of the city’s most photogenic events.
The Photogenic Festival is about to celebrate its fourth edition and has decided to change its format so that even more people can take part in its programmed activities. All of those activities are designed to be enjoyed by photography experts and amateurs alike. For the first time, the festival will bring all of its activities together at one specific venue and on one specific day. The new All Day Photogenic will take place on 17 November and will consist of 10 uninterrupted hours of conferences, workshops, master classes, demos and debates, together with food trucks and plenty of other surprises at the former Estrella Damm Beer Factory. The event will attract photography professionals like the duo of Bleda y Rosa, Sandra Balsells, ambassadors of the Sigma brand and others. Among the workshops we will find, for example, sessions on gastronomic and architectural photography and portraits.
But there’s even more than that to the Photogenic Festiva and from 5 to 18 November you’ll find, scattered between Gràcia and Ciutat Vella 40 photographic projects on different themes in singular shops.
Admission to All Day Photogenic costs €3, though some workshops charge a special fee. You can buy tickets at the Time Out website.
