An all-star cast for the first edition of the Festival Jardines de Pedralbes

Another series of summer concerts has been programmed in one of the most pleasant settings the city has to offer. The Festival Jardines de Pedralbes will take place from the 20th of June to the 8th of July in an unbeatable venue set right in the heart of the gardens of the royal palace The line-up consists of a variety of first-rate artists.
Josep Carreras, among the most universal of Catalan artists, will take charge of inaugurating the festival with a recital that will include a repertoire of songs from Broadway and Hollywood. He will be accompanied by soprano Gladys Rossi and the GIOrquesta, the symphony orchestra from Girona. On the 26th, the series continues with an equally universal performer, Julio Iglesias, and two days later it will be the turn of Anthony & The Johnsons, for what will without a doubt be a very emotive evening.
On the 3rd of July, Roger Hodgson, the voice of Supertramp, will be performing with his band and, on the 5th, Lana del Rey returns to the city after her success of last year. The first edition of the festival closes with two classic formations, each of which are emblematic of their genre, the disco-funk of Earth, Wind & Fire (7/07) and the folk-rock of Crosby, Stills & Nash (8/07).
