The Bone Festival, a creative air bridge between London and Barcelona

The musical avant-garde will be presented in different areas of the city through the proposals of some thirty artists.

A new musical event is born, the BONE x IKLECTIK Festival, with the intention of establishing, in the words of the organisers, "a creative air bridge between London and Barcelona, allowing local communities to get to know the projects that are being generated simultaneously in both cities". This first edition will consist of three days, on 13, 14 and 15 July, with the Taro and Paral-lel 62 venues hosting the night-time performances, and Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació the daytime ones.

There will be performances by some thirty avant-garde artists, with the intention that those attending can immerse themselves in experimental music and discover new talents. "We understand this meeting as a space to generate community, and the exploration of new paths of musical creation, with an open and current look, from electronic to analogue and electroacoustic music, exploring genres such as ambient, sound art, modular, drone, sound puzzle, noise, industrial, abstract, downtempo, loeping, improv...", reports the festival. The event will kick off at Paral-lel 62 with a talk on musician empowerment, and among the artists performing will be Vince Aloé, Avoid da Void, Coàgul, Li Yilei, Amsia, Sculpture, Surgeons Girl, Pascal Savy and Cunningham, among many others. The event will close on the night of 15 July in the Taro Hall, where Efe Ce Ele and Øbsidiaän will take the stage. In December the festival will be held in London.

Tickets can be purchased in advance and there is also the possibility of buying a three-day pass. All the information can be found at this link.
