Outdoor short films
The popular free outdoor themed film sessions are back in Poblenou.
The Can Framis Museum presents free open-air thematic sessions of short films in Poblenou. These mythical film nights take place every Friday from July to September, thanks to Mecal.
The International Short Film and Animation Festival of Barcelona (Mecal) celebrated its 25th edition in 2023, consolidating its position as a benchmark in the world of festivals dedicated to short films, both nationally and internationally.
This year's edition was held from 29 June to 9 July. And for almost three months, an important part of its programme will be available to all spectators thanks to these popular open-air screenings of short films in Poblenou, one of the busiest cultural areas in Barcelona.
The comprehensive programme includes a variety of themes such as music, horror, creative advertising, comedy, erotic short films, science fiction and many more.
These theme nights will be of interest to all film fans. Next Friday the 21st, for example, the screenings are dedicated to horror, while on Friday the 28th the night will be dedicated exclusively to creative advertising. The complete list of these theme nights is available in this link.
