Emma Vilarasau and Eduard Farelo star in the play

'Si mireu el vent d'on ve' (Comfort Me with Apples) - a story about maturity

Emma Vilarasau and Eduard Farelo are among the cast of this play by Nell Leyshon, directed by Fernando Bernués.

On 14 February, Teatre Lliure at Montjuïc will premiere the play Si mireu el vent d'on ve (original title Comfort Me with Apples), featuring Emma Vilarasau, Eduard Farelo, Claudia Cos, Laura López and Lluís Marquès, under the direction of Fernando Bernués. The play will be interpreted in Catalan in a translation by Marc Rosich. On Saturdays, from 24 February, it will be subtitled in Spanish and English.

The play is set in contemporary rural England, where a mother and son are living on an cider apple farm. The woman's daughter left home many years ago, and they have heard nothing from her until she returns one autumn and the story begins to unravel.

25 February sees a post-performance talk with the company, while two days before that, there will be a performance adapted for people with hearing and/or visual impairments.

Born in Glastonbury, United Kingdom, in 1962, Leyshon wrote Comfort Me With Apples in 2005. She is one of Britain's most acclaimed contemporary playwrights, as well as being a novelist of note.
