Dance Floor Stars Fill the Circuit Music Festival

Gay audiences from across Europe visit the city's clubs

The most festive and musical event for Barcelona’s gay community (and beyond) begins on the 5th of August until the 13th of August. This event fills the city's clubs with party-hungry people, seeking fun and good music. The Circuit Festival starts an essential gathering that takes place at venues like Razzmatazz, Safari, Input Club, and many other dance floors in the city.

The Circuit Festival began nearly twenty years ago under the management of Matinée Group, a nightlife business group that took advantage of Barcelona's reputation as a welcoming city to attract a fun-seeking audience from all over the continent to the streets of Gayxample (and now to other neighbourhoods in the city as well).

Since 2008, when the first edition of the Circuit Festival was held, the city has become the gay capital of the summer. It achieved this status with a diverse program of activities (from exhibitions to parties in water parks) and, above all, with a top-notch electronic soundtrack.

The organizers of this festive week have their own team of DJs, including some well-known names like Favio Zarza, Pagano, Lydia Sanz, as well as Nacho Chapado and Tom Stephan, to name just a few.

During the Circuit, international DJs join Matinée's resident and collaborating DJs. Come and enjoy the celebrations, where you'll find artists like Anne Louise, Dan Slater, Marcelo and Domingo, Nina Flowers, and Marquinhos, among many others, at various parties.

If you want to dance until you drop, don't miss the parties organized within the Circuit Festival, but first, check their website for all the information about the activities.
