Every Friday dance and traditional music is promoted, with amazing performances in the context of one of Barcelona's most beautiful monumental squares
The Associació de danses de Plaça del Rei encourage for almost the entire season Barcelona's citizens with dances and musical performances typical of the catalan culture.
From Easter to late June, and from October to late December, we may join the weekly dance and traditional Catalan music in the square of the Gothic Quarter. Thus, a space for popular culture is created in an emblematic place of Barcelona.
Els divendres de música i dansa is a festival that has been active for decades. The meeting is always in the evening: at 21.30 is used to make a dance workshop for children, and at 22:00 starts the music and dancing.
