Poblenou Open Night

Poblenou Open Night, the most creative night of the year

This is the 6th time it’s running and there will be over 50 spaces open, organising activities and displaying art and innovation.

Poblenou Open Night is back for the 6th time now with an amazing purpose: turning art and creativity into an emergency exit. As always, at night the spaces of Poblenou Urban District will be opening their doors to share, art, culture and innovation in one of the most creative neighbourhoods in Barcelona. This time, there will be over 50 spaces that will invite you in to wander and enjoy a wide range of activities, such as immersive video experiences, live artistic interventions, performances, exhibitions, film screenings set to music, food and drink, concerts and much more. One thing that stands out is the experience created by students on the MA course in Audio-visual Innovation at BAU, live mural painting on the walls of the Plataforma gallery or Iranian films being screened along with an Asian tapas dish organised by Casa Àsia. What’s more, you can visit the L&B Contemporary Art and Chez Xefo galleries, where there will be video art or the new Càmping Barcelona urban space, where they’ll be putting on an outdoor Silent Party with international DJs.

Poblenou Open Night will run on Friday, 22 November, from 7 pm to 1 am, in many spaces around Poblenou, such as studios, galleries, museums, schools, concert halls and many other places.

Most of the activities on the night are free and, for the most part, you don’t need to sign up in advance. You can find the whole programme and all the information on the Poblenou Open Night website.
