The Fiesta del Cine returns

On the 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th of May the majority of cinemas in Barcelona will participate in a new edition of the Fiesta del Cine, a not-to-be-missed occasion in which cinema goers can enjoy recently released films at the very economical price of just 2.90 euros. The event is designed to encourage the general public to visit the cinema more often.

In order to take advantage of the Fiesta del Cine you will first need to visit this website in order to request the accreditation that will allow you to purchase tickets at the reduced price. Since last year’s edition, and in an effort to reduce to lengthy queues that tend to form during the three days of the event, tickets can also be purchased via ATMs or through the websites of participating cinemas. In Barcelona, these venues include cinemas in the Balañá Group, as well as Cinesa, Yelmo Cines Icaria, Mëliès Cinemes, Renoir Floridablanca, Lauren Universitat and Cinema Maldà.

During the festival it will be possible to attend screenings of the weeks premieres of films the likes of Song of the Sea, Suite Française, Hipocrates, Sweet Home, Güeros, A esmorga, The Wedding Ringer and A cambio de nada as well as previously released films such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Mandariinid, Difret, The Dresser and Girlhood, among many others.
