
Music in the Plaza Real
The Jamboree room organizes free outdoor concerts that you can enjoy until September 6.
Summer is synonymous with outdoor activities. This year, the Jamboree room has organized a series of free concerts that will fill the Plaza Real de live jazz music. Pay attention, because you have just under two weeks left to enjoy them. The next concert will be on Wednesday August 26th and you can listen to the formation led by Jonas Santana at the percussion and Leo Costa at the cavaquinho (a Portuguese instrument similar to a ukulele), and on Thursday 27, you will find the quartet of sax, guitar, bass and drums Jazz Pretenders. Until August 31st, you can see on stage The Shu Shu (Friday 28), Carlos Bianchini Trío (Saturday 29), Clarence Bekker (Sunday 30) and Jose de la Minguela and Paco Heredia (Monday 31).
The month of September will begin with Tonia Richardson, singer, guitarist and composer from London, who will play on Tuesday the 1st. There will only be five concerts left to end the cycle, which will be in charge of Triampa (Wednesday 2), Childo Tomas (Thursday 3), Playground (Friday 4), and Amaia Miranda and Sebastián Gris (Saturday 5) and the cicle will end on Sunday 6 with a triple concert: Flamenco Tesoro, Raqueros i Kween Cortés.
The concerts in the Plaza Real are free and start at 6.30 p.m. The maximum capacity is 50 people and places will be occupied in order of arrival, therefore, we recommend arriving in advance.
