Dinner and music at Palau de la Música's Foyer

The groups taking part in the event are from very different genres, from Rehder Olalla Lanza Trio's tango to The Secret Investment's soul and jazz.

This year's performances at Palau de la Música will also take place outside of its regular venues this summer, more specifically at Cafè Palau. The Intimate dinners will be held in this beautiful and modernist space, or, in other words, you can dine in the Foyer while enjoying a concert. There are many opportunities to live this experience: there are performances planned every Friday and Sunday until September 11, and you can choose from a wide range of artists and musical genres.

Here are some of the singers and bands participating. On July 30, Mistura de Mare, a trio led by singer Estefanía Saborido, will bring the voice and melodies to the evening. The band wants to recover the most folkloric roots that run through its memories – Saborido was born in Catalonia to a Portuguese and Andalusian family. On August 6, it will be Rehder Olalla Lanza Trio's tango turn. Rebelliousness, disconsolation, irony, and humour make their concerts a kaleidoscope of emotions and feelings that escape the stereotype, the predictable, the foolish. And 24 hours later, the Barcelona band Kaudy will perform at Cafè Palau, reinterpreting the classics of Caribbean, rock and Latin American music. Also worth mentioning is the performance of The Secret Investment, Tonia Richardson and Tito Bonacera's musical project, with soul and jazz rhythms in addition to electronic music, on August 13.

Tables for these Intimate dinners are always from 8 pm until midnight, with the music starting at 9.15 pm. More information and tickets can be found here.
