Jazz, classical and Latin music to complete the visit to the Modernist Sant Pau Enclosure this November

Piazzola by Clazz and Duo Mediterrani are the two Sant Pau INÈDIT proposals for Sundays 15 and 22 November

In November the Sunday musical notes retur to the Modernist Sant Pau Campus, in the hands of various musical groups that offer us a tour of the classical music
and different instrumental arrangements, on a schedule that extends until next April.
The programme of Sant Pau INÈDIT offers the possibility of visiting different areas of the pavilion before the concerts, inviting you to enjoy this magnificent work of Lluis Domenech i Montaner from other points of view beyond the architecture, art and the historical approach. The proposal aims to discover unknown aspects of the institution and make this space a place of meeting with the culture, and become a living space that brings the music and history of the institution to the public.

Laura Gaya and Remi Meurice: Piazzolla by Clazz

Piazzola by Clazz is a project born of the fusion between classical and jazz, tracing a meeting point in the way the tango of Astor Piazzolla. This famous Argentine composer, with great influences of jazz and classical music, extracted tango from folklore to establish among large audiences.
Now, Rémi Meurice on alto sax and clarinet, and Laura Gaya on violin offer us a duo where the sound of the saxophone wraps the sound of a violin that constantly seeks polyphony. The melodies are born and grow while the makeshift bridges between popular music and classical music tend written.

Fedra Borràs flutist and guitarist Paul Despeyroux offer a repertoire of Latin music popular and Catalan roots, playing pieces Celso Machado, Pixinguinha and Piazzola.
Borras has been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain and has collaborated with the National Orchestra of Catalunya and the Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
Despeyroux has a great musical versatility, which is reflected by the fact that playing in chamber ensembles, tango, modern and ancient music.
