Liam Neeson stars in Jaume Collet-Serra’s “Run All Night”

The Hollywood-based Catalan film maker who has previously worked with Neeson in “Unknown” and “Non-Stop” now directs this crime thriller, which opens in cinemas on the 17th of April

Hollywood-based for the past 18 years, Catalan film maker Jaume Collet-Serra is currently one of the most successful directors working in the North American film industry. Specialising in horror and, above all, thrillers, his films have tended to reach the number one spot both in the United States as well as in many other countries around the world. His popularity began with his first film, House of Wax, and continued to grow with Orphan, Unknown and Non-Stop, the latter two starring Liam Neeson, once again returning to the role of action hero. His latest release Run All Night also stars the Irish-born actor.

The film, which opens in Barcelona cinemas on Friday the 17th of April, is a crime thriller that focusses on a former mercenary who is sought after both for his past crimes as well as by a policeman who has been on his trail for the past thirty years. When he realises his son is in grave danger, he will have to choose between the criminal gang to which he has always belonged and his family, who he abandoned. He will only have one night in which to find out where his loyalties truly lie.

In addition to Liam Neeson, Run All Night stars Joel Kinnaman, Ed Harris, Vincent D’Onofrio and Genesis Rodriguez, among others.
