Some of the books in the TNC Library

The TNC Library offers sixty plays in digital format

There are classics and contemporaries, and they are accompanied by other articles to make an in-depth reading.

While the confinement lasts, the Biblioteca del Teatre Nacional de Catalunya (TNC), together with Arola Editors, offers the possibility of reading about sixty dramaturgies in digital format. You only need to click on this link and click on the book you want to download. You will notice that there is a book for every taste, both classical and contemporary works. For example, you'll find La importància de ser Frank, one of the biggest blockbuster hits of past seasons, based on an Oscar Wilde book. Also, Anton Chekhov's La gavina, William Shakespeare's El somni d'una nit d'estiu, or Josep M. de Sagarra's La Rambla de les floristes, to name just a few other classic titles. More recently, the text of the work that was being performed in the Sala Gran has been available at the time of the closing of all cultural facilities, Justícia, by Guillem Clua. Also Un mosquit petit, by Marc Artigau, Només una vegada, by Marta Buchaca, Islàndia, by Lluïsa Cunillé, or Victòria, by Pau Miró, among many others.

The reader does not find the text only in the theater; there are also the corresponding prologues and articles that allow to deepen in each work. Likewise, TNC's social media networks are also very active these days, and regular online meetings with members of the art teams are organized on their Instagram Live to share their experiences with viewers.
