Sant Pau illumination invites you on a magical Christmas journey

The modernist enclosure will once again dress in color for almost two months, to become a galactic space.

Christmas is approaching and the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site will turn on the lights of its universe on November 22. The lighting will of course refer to this time of the year, but in this case also to galaxies, stars and planets. The organization -Proactiv Entertainment, DEAG and Handwerker Promotion- promises many novelties with respect to last year -the space received 210,000 visits and sold out almost every day and time-, and those who enter the enclosure designed by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner will enjoy twenty installations and more than a kilometre of this luminous cosmos which aims to transmit magic and joy.

L'Univers de la Llum -the title of this year's proposal- will consist of projections, sensory tunnels and a journey between planets and stars in large format, using state-of-the-art technology that will allow a fully immersive experience suitable for all audiences. And, moreover, in a unique and emblematic site such as the former Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. It will be open until January 15, every evening from 6 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., except on December 24 and 31 and January 5. Among the installations, you will also find a gastronomic offer with Christmas delicacies in case you want to take a break from this magical journey. The organization reports that the circular route lasts approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the pace and whether you make any stops.
