To their 50-year-old children

Teatreneu presents a monologue by Jorge Santini that will take you back to the eighties.

Get your sticker album back, and if it's one of those that came as a gift with a well-known yoghurt brand, all the better. Though we're not naming names, I'm sure you know the one we're talking about.

Teatreneu is presenting a monologue about nostalgia and the experiences of a whole generation, those of a time when there were only two television channels. In Érase una vez... los Ochenta, the comedian Jorge Santini will make us relive the days of VHS and the magazines bought in the kiosks of La Rambla.

Santini is Catalan, from Mollet del Vallés, and has been working in comedy for many years. In his new proposal, he will talk about how he experienced this decade that, for many, was prodigious or at least magical. From childhood to adolescence, Jorge will show us, always with a lot of humour, how the historical moments of the time were lived.

In addition, he will also touch on related subjects such as television (a time when the quiz shows Un, dos, tres on TVE 1 and La Clave on TVE 2 were being broadcast); games (with the fame acquired by the Rubik's cube); technology (with the first personal computers and video games); and fashion.

He will touch upon things like going out, the first kiss, the first partner... and, especially, that typical Generation X slang such as mola or tronco.

Much laughter and also a few tears can be expected in a show where parents can bring their children, who will discover how much fun a whole generation had.
