Nights with Rhythm

Nits amb Ritme at the Casa de les Punxes

This emblematic Modernisme-style building by Puig i Cadafalch enlivens summer nights with tours and concerts on its terrace.

If we listed the most famous Modernisme-style buildings in Barcelona, Casa de les Punxes would surely be high on the list. This emblematic project by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, which opened in 1905, is essential to understanding the history of Barcelona’s heritage because it is revolutionary both technically and artistically. Visiting it is always a true pleasure, but it’s even more delightful in the summer thanks to Nits amb Ritme (Nights with Rhythm) at the Casa de les Punxes. In the summer months, you can tour the building, also known as Casa Terradas, at night, and then enjoy a concert on its impressive 600m2 terrace. The concerts encompass a wide range of genres, from soul to bossa nova, not to mention jazz and swing, featuring such ensembles and artists as Tina & Joe, Scaramouche, Atenea Carter, Casi el mejor trio de tu vida, Yadira Ferrer, Monica Mussungo Duo and Canela N' Drama. Plus, you can savour the evening even more with a free drink while enjoying spectacular views of the city.

Nits amb Ritme at the Casa de les Punxes will be held every Friday in June, July and August, from 14 June to 30 August. Free tours around the house will begin at 7 pm, and the one-hour concert starts at 8 pm.

Tickets cost 25 euros, and residents of Catalonia can get theirs for 18.75 euros. You can buy yours on the Casa de les Punxes website.
