"Not everything is invented"

The Barcelona Ideas and Inventions Museum (miba) proposes a number of workshops as an introduction to robotics and to encourage a shared use of technology

Inventions to make you think, inventions to make you laugh, revolutionary inventions, absurd inventions, inventions from Barcelona and inventions from all over the world. The miba is a must for anyone who wants to be up-to-date on all the latest trends, inventions and creations. During the summer they also organize the following workshops designed especially for children aged between 6-14 years.

NO-BATTERY LAB

Who needs batteries? Frikids has brought us a new workshop designed to foster knowledge and understanding of the technology-oriented renewable energy forms. Children will build simple solar-powered devices, dynamos and bio-batteries. Boys and girls who attend the workshop will learn how to create circuits, connect small motors, and construct batteries from fruits and dynamos. They can even create solar-powered toys, windmills, and musical instruments!
Cost: 15€
Recommended ages: 6-11 years old

INTRODUCTION TO ROBOTICS (Week-long Course)
Engineering and robotics workshop, using the LEGO Mindstorms NXT system.
Dates: July 1-5, July 8-13, July 15-20, July 22-24, July 29-August 2
Hours: Monday-Friday from 4:00-6:00 PM
Recommended Ages: 6-14 years old
Price: 80€ per child for one week. Materials are included.

MODULMAX
