Pride Barcelona

A celebration of love and diversity

Pride Barcelona fills the city with over a hundred activities celebrating LGBTI rights.

Pride Barcelona has established itself as the most important LGBTI pride celebration in the Mediterranean area. Since 2008, these days of fun and protest have served to reaffirm the city's commitment to the struggle for the rights and freedoms of the LGBTI community. Each year, a cause is chosen to raise awareness and generate debate and this year’s edition will focus on LGBTI refugees: people who have been forced to flee their countries of origin and settle in Barcelona in order to be able to lead a normal life. Pride Barcelona will also see a host of activities that run from film screenings and exhibitions to parties. On 29 and 30 June, Pride Barcelona will return to its original space on Avinguda Maria Cristina to celebrate its biggest party, complete with appearances by Conchita, Loreen and Gala, a dance competition and Pride! Kids activities for children.

Pride Barcelona will run from 23 to 30 June and there will be events all over the city. Even some of the city’s most iconic buildings, including Casa Batlló, Hotel W, Las Arenas shopping centre and El Molino will be lit up in rainbow colours on 28 June.

The vast majority of activities are free. Check them all out at the following link.
