Albert Guinovart and Elisabet Franch on June 26 at the Jardí dels Tarongers

The concerts continue at the Jardí dels Tarongers

The classical music series program continues this September and will last until December.

Despite the sweltering heat of summer, the Jardí dels Tarongers de Pedralbes continues with the classical music series. They have already hosted musicians such as Albert Guinovart and Elisabet Franch, the Quartet Moana and Marta Pons and Òscar Vilaprinyó. The pianist Joan Ramón Company (04/09) will premiere this September with a quite varied repertoire, among which you will find Josuè Blanco, Robert Schumann or Raquel García-Tomás. This month you can also listen to the saxophone ensemble Quartet Vela (18/09) and the Trio Blanchard (09/25) for piano, clarinet and cello.

Starting in October, the concerts are more widely spaced. Then, baritone Xavier Fernández will be accompanied by the pianist Olga Kobekina (02/10), offering you a program of arias from opera and zarzuela. Sabina Martínez will also be on the piano (10/16), with pieces by Schubert, Chopin and de Montgeroult. In November, Duo Dopico can be heard on the piano and violin (06/11), and the series will end with the Christmas works of the Kor Ítsia (12/18), directed by Jaume Sala.

All concerts start at 7:30 p.m. and doors open one hour prior. Entrance can be made with a voluntary donation of 10 Euros and it is recommended to reserve a place by sending an email to info@jardidelstarongers.org or by calling 932 326 444.
