Pyrenees: Art and Ecology in the XXI Century (II)

Until July 27 Arts Santa Monica is hosting the exhibition Pyrenees: Art and Ecology in the XXI century (II)

The exhibition Pyrenees: Art and Ecology in the XXI century (II) is the artistic result (visual and plastic reflections) of six Catalan and Occitan artists on the content of a scientific seminar about Pyrenean landscape evolution before the human footprint to the present day where the anthropogenic global warming begins to be noticed. The exhibition will be at Arts Santa Monica (La Rambla 7, Barcelona) until July 27 and entry is free.

His works are the result of their participation in two seminars held at Mas d'Azil (Carrefour climat) and Toluges (The Foret in epreuve du Changement climatique). The techniques are varied but all together in a universal message of environmental awareness as part of respect for one's own kind.

Artists: Océane Moussé and Jean-Chistophe Polien from Migdia-Pirineus; Philippe Domergue and Séverine Péron from Llenguadoc-Rosselló; and Quelic Berga and Vicens Casassas from Catalunya.
