The 'Hora Barcelona' phase allows citizens to enjoy the Sagrada Familia free of charge at weekends

La Sagrada Familia, open to the people of Barcelona

The citizens of Barcelona can visit the temple free of charge on weekends until the end of December.

The Basilica of the Sagrada Familia wants to pay tribute to the citizens of Barcelona after the economic and emotional shock of the pandemic. Previously, the temple opened its doors free of charge to health care providers, law enforcement officers and other essential organizations during these difficult times, and now it is time for the citizens. They call this phase the la Barcelona Hour, and it sold out all the tickets for the months of July and August in less than five hours. The phase is still in force and will remain so until the end of December.

This exclusive offer will allow you to enjoy the interior of the temple of Antoni Gaudí at your leisure, with a more limited capacity and more time to walk around and admire all the details. Although there are no more tickets left, the offer will continue until the end of the year. The tickets for September will be available from August 3rd and so, every month, the tickets for the following month will go on sale.

Above all, do not forget you want to get them since, as you can see, they are sold out quickly. On the website and social media of La Sagrada Família you will remain informed of the latest news about this offer. We believe that this will be one of the few occasions when you can see the temple empty of tourists.
