Summer Evenings Return to Cases Singulars

Discover the history and soul of some of Barcelona’s most iconic buildings with guided tours filled with art, mystery, and a touch of flavor.

The heat has arrived, and with it, the Summer Evenings at Cases Singulars—a program packed with experiences to help you explore the city’s most unique homes in luxurious detail. And all of it paired with your choice of a choco frappé or a vermouth. What more could you ask for?

Uncovering what lies behind each story, which characters passed through these spaces, and learning about the architects who designed them is now easier than ever, thanks to Cases Singulars, which returns this year with its exclusive summer guided tours. As a starter, begin with a sensory experience at Casa Amatller, a landmark Modernist building that still preserves its original 1900 furnishings and art collections. You’ll also get a glimpse into the passion for photography of chocolate industrialist Antoni Amatller and his unique way of seeing the city.

For the first course, continue with the Arús Library, where you can view up close the Joan Proubasta Collection of Sherlock Holmes, one of the most influential characters in detective fiction. This collection includes a wide range of materials—from books and magazines to figurines, films, and posters—that fascinate both fans and the curious alike.

And for the main course (no less important), there’s the Espai Subirachs, a cultural space dedicated entirely to showcasing the work of Catalan sculptor Josep Maria Subirachs. This unmissable guided tour wraps up with a vermouth at Sala Beckett in the Poblenou neighborhood. For dessert, enjoy a tour of the Ateneu Barcelonès and its library, which preserves its original décor painted by Francesc Pla “El Vigatà”, a master of the Baroque period.

With this special summer menu, the Evenings at Cases Singulars become a true celebration of Barcelona’s heritage, art, and culture. It’s the perfect plan to let yourself be surprised, discover historical spaces, and experience the city from a different perspective.

You can find more information and the full schedule of guided tours on the Cases Singulars website.
