Woody Allen's talent becomes a theater play

Àlex Rigola adapts "Husbands and Wives", from 16 September to 18 October in la Villarroel

We loved the film, and would see it again any day. "Husbands and Wives" unleashes one of the Woody Allen best scripts, in a film where weight interpretation rests on their shoulders, and Mia Farrow one's.

Dare to offer a different version, changing the format and actors, for a script as effective as Woody Allen's, requires a lot of talent. Àlex Rigola already took this show to the Teatro de la Abadia in Madrid in 2013, and now the Catalan version, "Marits i mullers", debuts for la Villarroel.

In this comedy about relationships we find characters like Andreu, writer and literature professor, and his wife Monica, who works for an art magazine . Andreu and Monica can not believe that their best friends, Sandra and Joan, seemingly the perfect couple, have decided to separate. From this news, both begin to wonder if their marriage is based on a really solid relationship.
