The ‘Sala de Reflexió’ by Antoni Tàpies can be found in UPF’s Campus de la Ciutadella

Art from another perspective through the UPF Art Track

This tool shows the art that is hidden within the walls of the Universidad Pompeu Fabra.

Artists of all sorts have made artistic donations to the Universidad Pompeu Fabra, which are mostly found in the emblematic buildings of the Campus de la Ciutadella. These creations, by contemporary and international artists, are collected in a tool that the university launched on May 18th, 2016, coinciding with International Museum Day and the university’s 25th anniversary. UPF Art Track was created to open the artistic heritage of the Pompeu Fabra to the public, offering a simple way to enjoy it from home.

Thanks to the Google Arts & Culture platform you can see the ‘Sala de Reflexió’ and other works by Antoni Tàpies, ‘Contenidor-Contingut’ by Eulàlia Valldosera, ‘Flors del coneixement’ by Jaume Muxart or ‘25è aniversari’ by Max de Esteban, as well as many other artists such as Jaume Plensa, Susana Solano, Eduardo Chillida, Roy Lichtenstein, Josep Guinovart or Albert Ràfols-Casamada. If you browse among all the elements you will also find photographs, drawings and some videos that show the spaces of the Campus de la Ciutadella.

This project is part of the Barcelona Contemporary Art Tour initiative and is the perfect way to enjoy all the art that is hidden within the walls of the Pompeu Fabra University.
