The Late Estate Broomberg & Chanarin

From February 20 to May 23, 2021, Fabra i Coats: Centre d'Art Contemporani hosted 'The Late Estate Broomberg & Chanarin', the posthumous exhibition in which Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin announced their decision to the world of “dying” as a creative couple after 23 years. Two days before the United Kingdom closed its borders with the European Union for Brexit, a 13-meter-long articulated truck left London for Barcelona, ​​loaded with wooden boxes containing all its work. For three months, every 15 days, the exhibition changed during this atypical retrospective, in which his legacy was gradually unfolded.
