Sharing memories of the market. Documentary screening followed by drinks and snacks

28 April, 2017 - 18:00

When: 28 April 2017 at 18:00
Where: Sant Andreu Palomar Market

On the occasion of the Popular Market Memory project exhibition at the Fabra i Coats - Contemporary Art Centre of Barcelona, a documentary of the experiences of different stallholders and people involved with the market will be screened. The film is based on compiled images that establish dialogues about the market's community life. Different agents will take part in the activities and there will be drinks and snacks afterwards.

Popular Market Memory is an intervention project at the Sant Andreu Palomar Market and one that gathers community memories, which has been developed since September as part of the Living In-between programme. It has been designed to encourage and give visibility to a debate on local market and commerce models, taking advantage of the fact that the market will be renovated and set up on temporary premises next to Fabra i Coats.
