David Alcoy, born in Barcelona in 1967, has worked as a librarian in the Barcelona public library network since 2014. Previously, he worked at libraries in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. He holds degrees in documentation and in geography and history. A lifelong fan of speculative genres, he currently manages the science fiction collection at the Montserrat Abelló Library, which also runs outreach activities to promote the genre.
