David Lloyd, small format comic
There are images that become universal, symbols of an idea that crosses generations. V for Vendetta mask is one of them: rebellion, freedom and resistance condensed into an unchanging face. Behind this icon is David Lloyd, the British cartoonist who, together with Alan Moore, gave life to one of the most influential stories in modern comics. Now, in a small format meeting at the Can Fabra Library, a reference space for comic lovers, we will have the opportunity to talk face to face with the author. A unique opportunity to discover how icons emerge, how visual language evolves and what lies behind a career that has left its mark on works such as Hellblazer. The conversation will be moderated by Iván Pintor, who will help us delve into the eyes of one of the great graphic storytellers of our time.
