The winners of the 42 Awards: Award-winners’ round table
The main winners of the 2025 42 Awards – announced live in the ceremony the night before – will sit down together with Tatiana Dunyó and Borja Bilbao, members of the panel for this edition (for works in Catalan and Spanish, respectively), to discuss their work and the secrets of their success. As always, the event will celebrate and highlight the best fantasy works published the previous year so that they reach more readers, as meeting the authors first hand and hearing about what drives their creative processes always sparks interest. Following the conversation, the winners – who will remain a secret until the ceremony – will also be signing copies of their books. This is no blind date, though. The awards themselves vouch for the quality of the works and of the authors who have been honoured in previous editions, such as Joan Roca Navarro., Ferran Garcia, Roser Cabré-Verdiell and Layla Martínez, and international winners such as Ted Chiang, Catriona Ward and Becky Chambers.
