Art Trànsit Dansa

In 1939, whilst Nijinsky was undergoing psychiatric treatment, he was visited by a colleague who, seeking to revive the great dancer’s memory, demonstrated some ballet steps. In response, Nijinsky got up and, with an absent expression, made a magnificent leap that was immortalised in a series of photographs. Based on these images, the choreographer Maria Rovira has created a show that revolves around the idea of memory.
