You are invited to see an excerpt from Compra'm, a multimedia performance that meditates on how we seek happiness in our consumer society, taking as its starting point the myth of Pandora. This is but a sample of the theatrical language that the company have also developed in previous shows, from La caputxeta galàctica, in which they adapt the story of Little Red Riding Hood into multimedia art, turning it into an initiatory journey, to Bouazizi, a multidisciplinary work that examines how the media work and how power manipulates us. All are good examples of shows in which technology is not a tool or just another prop, but the very foundations on which the whole production rests. Indeed, Insectotròpics received the Future Internet - Performing Arts prize, awarded by Barcelona Institute of Culture, and in Compra'm use innovative technology that enables the performance to take place in three different locations at once as, absolutely live, they focus on different opinions about our consumer society.
