Sometimes they last only a few seconds, sometimes months, but some moments leave an impression on your life forever. This comedy speaks of those moments and also of a situation that happens time and time again, with hundreds of versions.

The father has died and his two sons, Aitor and Toni, meet again and are forced to spend time together, as long as the production you are attending as spectators lasts. If it weren’t for the circumstances, they wouldn’t even have met. You could cut the atmosphere with a knife. They haven’t heard from each other for five years, and now that they’ve been reunited, they’re still picking on each other. But even so, Toni is in a hurry to make up for lost time with his brother, because he has a degenerative disease that is progressing inexorably. Yes, time does not stand still, minute by minute, but, at the same time, it also “speaks” and tells us a story if we are willing to listen. Why does Aitor feel guilty? Why does he feel unable to move forward in life? The audience will discover this as the comedy progresses over a period of time, just over an hour, that may transform the lives of these brothers.

It all takes place in the dining room of a well-to-do house, the setting imagined by actress, playwright and director Virgínia Sànchez, a performer who was a founding member of the company Despenjades who has acted in theatre productions, short films and webseries. She has created micro-theatre pieces, staged her own show at Cafè Teatre Llantiol and written four plays (including Des-penjades and Olor d'ocell), many of which were premièred at Versus Teatre.

A production by Versus Teatre.
