Are we guests or hosts? How do we treat those that have just joined our community? A short story by the French writer Albert Camus partly inspires a choreographer who is fascinated by the idea of ambiguity, an artist as capable of charming audiences with her art as she is at making them squirm uncomfortably in their seats. Her choreographies, one hundred percent physical and full of both energy and poetry, explore opposites that are constantly changing. In this piece, she invites the audience to sit all around the stage to witness at close hand relationships that the performers establish amongst themselves and to see how these ties affect their ability to make correct decisions. A new work by a choreographer who has thrilled audiences in a score of countries and has created choreographies for such prestigious companies as the Ballet de Monte Carlo, the City Contemporary Dance Company of Hong Kong and the Cullberg Ballet.
