A leading venue on the city's independent scene today brings to the Grec a programme based on innovation and research that supports and helps to raise the profile of emerging artists and groups.
“No one is without culture”; “If they cut off your head there is no culture"; and "Culture is one of death’s pastimes." These three statements provide the basis for a piece that takes the form of a lecture in which the independent artists Rafael Lamata and Jaime Vallaure seek to define the term "culture" and describe their view and relationship with it as inhabitants of the western world.
