Paint & Play: Street Art Space

  • Activitats paral·leles

Are you fond of graffiti? Four great artists will be at plaça de Margarida Xirgu! No need for experience: just come, paint and let yourself flow into the street art with authors such as Turkesa, Elisa Capdevila, Clara Sáez or Btoy. Their creations on the walls of the city will be familiar to you as soon as you see them. Help put the templates of Andrea Michaelsson (Btoy), lend a hand to "anchor" the piece of Elisa, or move the spray with Turkesa will allow you to see closely how they make their creations for this event: faces of well-known characters from the Anglo-Saxon culture painted on a canvas formed by cardboard boxes that will become a real wall. You will feel like urban artists and, once the works are finished, you can move the boxes and exchange them to form new images in a kind of giant puzzle. An urban art gallery that, once the activity is finished, will remain in the square so that the public can play with them by constructing and deconstructing new faces every time.

During the most part of July, at the heart of the festival in Montjuic, a range of free activities have been programmed to enjoy some good times prior to entering the stage shows.
