Inspired by descents from the cross painted between the trecento and the Mannerist period, Virgilio Sieni has created a series of poetic actions that form a geographic fresco on the theme of gestures. Non professional performers chosen from amongst the people of Barcelona will take a poetic look at the body. Supporting and helping one another and establishing a tactile dialogue, these impromptu performers will give birth to a political act whose message is the democracy of the body.
The six venues chosen are symbolic sites in the city that form a route around La Rambla, a kind of energy channel from and towards the sea, where all these choreographic actions will converge.
