The creator of La Trilogie des Contes Immoraux (pour Europe) talks about her career and her own concept of the performing arts in a talk with the director of the La Virreina Centre de la Imatge.

On 11 and 12 July, Phia Ménard will be bringing her trilogy of performances to the Mercat de les Flors; a set of political fables created for the stage entitled La Trilogie des Contes Immoraux (pour Europe) that pose questions about the birth of Europe, and the current state of affairs on the continent.

The first of these performances premièred at Documenta 14 in Kassel in 2017 under the title Contes Immoraux - Partie 1:Maison Mère. Documenta is one of the most prestigious contemporary art events in the world, which is why a meeting between the artist and Valentín Roma, director of La Virreina Centre de la Imatge, has been organised as part of the Grec 2022 Festival in Barcelona. In this conversation open to the public, the French performer, choreographer, juggler and theatre director will be talking about her productions and her concept of the stage.

Talk in French with translation to Spanish.
