Tasta Toca Olora

Let Comediants and the Alícia Foundation take you on an intense journey to experience the senses of taste, smell and touch in a very special way... as if you were deaf and blind.

Being deaf and blind is a double disability that affects nearly 3,000 Catalan people, 1,800 of whom live in Barcelona. There are shows that are adapted for people with disabilities, but very few actually conceived in created with such people in mind.

Tasta Toca Olora was created to give deaf and blind people the chance to try a unique experience, whilst people without these disabilities can learn about their reality through the senses.

In this show, which takes its inspiration from the film Ratatouille, in which the rat guides the chef by pulling his hair, the “mediators” will communicate with spectators only with their hands. As a result, the participants, deprived of the senses of hearing and sight, will embark on an exceptional culinary journey.
