The Torre Baró Open Centre is a key facility for families in situations of social exclusion in the neighbourhoods of Vallbona, Ciutat Meridiana and Torre Baró. The centre has been going for thirty years, offering recreational activities, workshops and school revision for children between the ages of 5 and 13 with a professional team of social educators and monitors and support from volunteers.

The agreement means activity at the facility can restart. The centre has been open since 3 June with safety and protection measures in place. During the summer it will be offering a summer school with free-time activities for children and teenagers in vulnerable situations.
