Barcelona Art, Science and Technology Hub starts lifeThe goal is to explore and develop intersections between art, science and technology and boost the digital transformation of society. Nine institutions are behind the Barcelona Art, Science and Technology Hub (Artech Hub), to make Barcelona a global centre for research, training, dissemination, knowledge transfer and production in this sphere.
The Artech Hub will develop cross-cutting programmes to boost research, training, dissemination, knowledge transfer and production in fields such as art, science and technology.
The centre will use existing virtual environments and physical spaces such as creation centres, scientific infrastructures, research centres, companies, and art, science and technology events and festivals. Fira Barcelona, for instance, has made part of the Palau d’Alfons XIII available to the Artech Hub.
Barcelona Art, Science and Technology Hub, a joint effort
