Barcelona is getting ready to host the fourth Nationale-Nederlanden Plogging Tour, an event combining sport and ecology to promote sustainability and communal health.

An event for everyone

This event welcomes participants of all ages, levels and physical condition, offering circuits of 2.2, 6.6 and 11 kilometres around the district of Les Corts and the Parc de Collserola. Participants will be able to engage in sport while collecting rubbish, combining physical activity with care of the environment.

Complementary activities at the Plogging Campus

Besides the plogging circuits, those attending will be able to enjoy a series of activities at the Plogging Campus, located on the esplanade of the Palau Reial de Pedralbes.

The activities include sports displays, adapted sport, zumba masterclasses, fitness and dance, art and recycling workshops, virtual reality, games and gymkhanas for children.

Continuity of the Plogging Tour

After Barcelona, the Plogging Tour continues to make its way around other places in Spain, such as Malaga (22 September), Valencia (5 October) and Ibiza (27 October). Promoted by the Blue Life Foundation and Eleven with the support of the CSD, this tour is the first European tour to combine outdoor sport with the care of the natural environment, helping towards the recovery of over 55,500 kilos of waste in cities such as Teruel, Madrid, Seville and Bilbao.
