Give your toys a second life!

Seventeen toy exchange points will be operating up until 21 December, giving toys and games a second life. The goal is to promote responsible consumption and reduce the impact on the environment.

Users can bring a maximum of ten toys for each child. War-based or sexist toys will not be accepted, neither will cuddly toys or publicity items.

Toys and games to exchange

  • Small storybooks (maximum 5)
  • Large storybooks
  • Small toys: tools, fruit, mini cars, kitchen items (minimum three items per pack).
  • Medium-sized toys and games: vehicles, jigsaws, building games, medium-sized board games etc.
  • Large board games and costumes.
  • Large games: play kitchens, skates, tricycles etc.

Each item will be classified using a points system, determining which toys can be taken in exchange. Two extra gift points can be earnt for each medium-sized or large toy or game if they are eco-friendly.

Seventeen exchange points, by district

  • Ciutat Vella: Espai Lúdic Ambiental per Famílies Parc de la Ciutadella, Ludoteca Placeta del Pi, Centre de la Platja Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta and Escola Mediterrània.
  • Eixample: Casal Infantil Fort Pienc – Centre Cívic Ateneu Fort Pienc, Casal Infantil Urgell and Casal Infantil Sagrada Família.
  • Gràcia: Centre Cívic La Sedeta and Lluïsos de Gràcia – Banc del temps de Gràcia.
  • Horta-Guinardó: Casal de Barri and Ludoteca Can Travi.
  • Nou Barris: Ludoteca la Guineu, Casal Infantil Roquetes and Casal Infantil i Adolescent Canyelles.
  • Sant Andreu: Casal de Barri Can Portabella and Casal de Barri Congrés Indians.
  • Sant Martí: Casal de Barri Espai Antoni Miró Peris.
  • Sarrià-Sant Gervasi: Centre Cultural Casa Orlandai
