Minimum services for strike action on the metro on 10 MayMetro services will be affected on Friday 10 May, the third day of action called by the TMB strike committee. At peak periods (6.30 to 9.30 am and 4 to 8 pm) the established minimum services mean 40% of trains will be operating, compared to 20% during the earliest part and the final part of the day. Normal service levels will be operating the rest of the day, from 10 am to 4 pm and from 8 pm to 9.35 pm.
- During rush hours, from 6.30 to 9.30 am and from 4 to 8 pm, 40% of regular services.
- From 6 am to 6.30 am, from 9.30 am to 10 am and from 9.35 pm to 11.35 pm, 20% of regular services.
Given the disruption to the service, users are recommended to seek alternative ways of getting around the city.
The strike action also affects the Montjuïc cable car, which will be opening shorter hours, from 11 am to 3 pm, and the Monjuïc funicular, which will be operating the same percentages of services as the metro line during strike hours. From 7.30 am to 9.30 am the funicular will run every 25 minutes. From 9.30 am to 10 am it will run every 50 minutes and from 4 pm to 8 pm every 25 minutes.
