El Plural Masculinities Centre moves to El Clot
El Plural is a municipal facility for men, offering a series of resources and services to promote men’s personal and social commitment to building a fairer and more equal society for everybody. The centre will be located at C/ Clot, 27, from 12 May.
The centre is moving from Av. Marquès de l’Argentera, 22, to new premises at C/ Clot, 27. From Monday, 12 May, the facility will be opening at the new location and operating as usual. The premises used to date are on the site where the future State Public Library will be built.
El Plural offers services and activities aimed at men: advice on equality and the prevention of sexist violence, talks and training on masculinity, support for organisations to include masculinity training in the services and programmes, and support for men who commit or have committed gender violence. The centre also has educational resources such as training packs with a selection of books and stories which, with the support of a guide, facilitate reflection on masculinity among children.
