Application period open for Christmas lighting subsidies
Local retailers’ associations have until 21 June to apply for subsidies to cover up to 75% of the cost of installation, maintenance, assembly, dismantling or the design of Christmas lights for public streets in the city in 2023.
Subsidies can now be applied for online, with a maximum of 120,000 euros available per applicant. The rest of the amount is to be funded by the associations which apply. The time frame for projects is from 1 July 2023 to 31 January 2024.
The total budget available for these subsidies is 860,000 euros.
