The subsidies can fund up to 80% of the projects that qualify. Applications can be presented online through the specific procedure up until 13 May.

Projects entered for subsidies must begin in 2024 and last no longer than 12 months. This year’s call is organised into two areas, Strengthening and Intercoopertion, each with three categories.

Strengthening

  • Creation of new cooperatives and transformation of other legal forms existing in cooperatives. Up to €8,000.
  • Business consolidation and scalability of SSE initiatives to strengthen their economic feasibility. Up to €10,000.
  • Digitalisation: Facilitation of digitalisation processes for SSE companies and organisations. Up to €10,000.

Intercooperation

  • Secondary and top level intercooperation: projects promoted by organisations in the secondary or top level of the social and solidarity economy or ethical finance. Up to €30,000.
  • Creation and/or strengthening of ecosystems of SSE cooperative and clusters through intercooperation. Up to €30,000.
  • Significant intercooperation projects and actions for the rollout of city projects in the #ESSBCN2030. Up to €20,000.

New for this edition

Compared to other calls, the digitalisation category has been redefined to favour the inclusion of digital tools, digitalisation processes, the improvement of digital skills and access to technology to increase the feasibility, scalability and growth of SSE companies.

The specific category from previous editions has also been eliminated, opening up the possibility of having people on work placements and applying this to most of the categories.

A special face-to-face information session is being held at the Bloc4BCN on 16 April, at 11.30 am, with more details on the eighth Enfortim ESS subsidy call. There will also be three more sessions online, on 18 April, 25 April and 6 May.
